The waxing results can last from three to six weeks, depending on the individual hair growth rates and cycles.
Waxing generally has minimal downtime. Some temporary redness or irritation may occur, but it usually subsides within a few hours.
Before waxing, ensure your hair is long enough for the wax to grip (about 1/4 inch). Avoid sun exposure and exfoliate the skin a day prior. After waxing, avoid hot showers, saunas, and sun exposure for 24 hours. Moisturizing the treated area regularly will keep the skin hydrated.
During a waxing treatment, a thin layer of wax is applied to the skin and rapidly removed, causing the hair to be pulled out from the root. The process is repeated until all unwanted hair is eliminated from the targeted area.
